The fight against ‘dahalo’ (cattle rustler) attacks is intensifying in the Tsiroanomandidy district. Within a few days, four individuals identified as dahalo were fatally shot during two separate clashes involving the National Gendarmerie and the Malagasy Army, respectively. The most recent operation took place on the night of September 3rd, resulting in the death of three individuals.
