An accident occurred yesterday morning in Ambohijatovo. Heritiana Ny Anjarason, the publication director of the RTA channel, was struck by a 4×4 vehicle while getting off a bus with his wife and son.
The vehicle hit him and transported him and his family to the emergency department of the HJRA hospital before driving off and disappearing. The vehicle remains unidentified to this day.
In the afternoon, the victim’s wife filed a complaint with the Accident Brigade. The license plate number of the 4×4, which was photographed and shared on social media, could help identify it.
The director underwent a CT scan around 5:00 PM and was admitted to the hospital. According to his wife, he lost consciousness at the moment of impact but regained it on the way. At the hospital, he was put on an IV drip and was able to speak, although he was very weak. He has swelling on his head and some marks on his arm and skull, but no serious external trauma has been observed.
The family had traveled from Alasora to Analakely to get a phone repaired.
