The Antanimena Skate Park was transformed for a day into a space dedicated to alternative culture. Organized by the RAR Project collective, the first edition of Reviv’Alt brought together music, skateboarding, custom motorcycles, photography, and tattooing on a single stage. The band Ikala presented a repertoire of original compositions and covers, including tracks by Gorillaz and Britney Spears.
Among the guest artists was Silver Bullet X, visiting from Mauritius, alongside local bands and artists such as RAR Project, High o Wellow, and Ikala. The band Grey, which could not perform due to an electrical issue, eventually reunited with their audience in the evening at Madagascar Underground in Antsahavola.
For Ampelagie, a member of the band Ikala, the goal of this gathering was primarily to bring alternative rock fans together and provide them with a space for expression.
Through Reviv’Alt, the RAR Project also aims to provide more visibility to an alternative scene that is still little known to the general public in Madagascar. The collective is already planning to renew the initiative to gather more enthusiasts and introduce this world to a wider audience.
