A transaction involving 15 tons of rice turned into a tragedy on Thursday in Ambohimasina, in the Ambatondrazaka district. A couple of traders, who had come to collect payment for their goods, were victims of a premeditated attack. The couple, originally from Didy, had sold 15 tons of rice to a woman for the sum of 15.6 million ariary.
