Thirteen years after discovering her voice, Anisha Jo is preparing to share it with 80,000 people. On September 25th, the Malagasy artist will sing at the Stade de France alongside other performers for the Pope’s visit. This stage holds deep symbolic meaning for the artist, who views her voice and music as a gift from God and aims to use them to convey a message of hope and love.

Born Anisha Jo Anyjaine on November 29, 1999, in Antananarivo, she developed a passion for music early on, inspired by Queen’s “The Show Must Go On.” In 2016, she moved to France to pursue higher education in humanities and social sciences in Paris, while simultaneously continuing her musical journey by teaching singing and performing at small Parisian open-mic venues.
Her first English folk track, “Broken Out,” marked the beginning of her professional path. Two years later, her career reached new heights when she joined the tenth season of “Star Academy” on TF1. On November 26, 2022, she won the finale against Enola, Léa, and Louis, a victory that brought her national recognition and became a source of pride for Madagascar.
She continued her career with her debut album, “Lumière,” featuring pop and folk influences. Following the intense media attention surrounding her victory, the artist chose to refocus on her projects, splitting her time between France and Madagascar, where she draws much of her inspiration.
With this upcoming performance at the Stade de France, Anisha Jo will reach a new milestone in her career, dedicating her voice to the message she values most: hope, love, and unity.
