Antananarivo will be the meeting point for oral health specialists from the Indian Ocean this year. Madagascar will host the first Indian Ocean Dental Congress, which will take place from October 30th to November 1st at the Ivato International Conference Center (CCI).
According to the organizers, the event aims to strengthen cooperation between Indian Ocean countries to support the development of the dentistry sector, promote recent innovations in dental surgery, orthodontics, implants, and oral care, and position Madagascar as a reference destination for medicine, scientific research, and university training.
This inaugural edition will see the participation of 3,000 attendees, including 300 international guests, such as dental surgeons, medical students, dental prosthetists, dental assistants, pharmacists, suppliers, and distributors of health equipment and technologies. The event will feature around 40 booths and 20 international speakers.
