Serene before the decisive stage. The 7th and final stage of the Pétanque Masters will take place this Wednesday and Thursday in Nevers. The ‘Étoiles du Sud’ team, composed of Malagasy stars Yves Sedrick Rakotoarisoa and Jean François Daniel Rakotondrainibe, reinforced by Senegalese player N’Diaye Fara and Beninese player Marcel Gbetable, currently holds the provisional lead with 46 points after the 5th stage in Rognac. They are followed by Team Bonetto with 39 points, and the Rocher and Dream Team squads, each with 36 units.
At the end of this 7th stage, the four top-ranked teams will secure their qualification for the Final Four, scheduled for September 6 and 7. The first-round matches of this final stage are scheduled for this evening around 7:15 PM. The play-offs and second-round matches will take place on Thursday around 11:30 AM, with the semi-finals at 3:00 PM and the final around 5:30 PM.
