An armed robbery occurred in the fokontany of Bemonto Ambarijeby Kely, located in the Kandreho district of the Betsiboka region, on the morning of Thursday, August 20, 2026, around 5:00 AM. Ten armed Dahalo bandits carried out the attack, stealing 40 head of cattle and kidnapping two forest guards.
