A’Ranty Rasetriarivony has finished at the top of the scoring charts for the 2026 U18 Afrobasket. The Malagasy point guard scored 109 points in six games, averaging 18.2 points per match. He surpassed Moroccan player Mehdi Berrada, who finished second with 88 points (17.6 points per game), and Ivorian Nathan Djako, who placed third with 105 points (17.5 points per game). The final statistical ranking of the competition confirms the outstanding performance of the young Malagasy player.
Playing for the Ankoay, A’Ranty Rasetriarivony recorded his best performances against Gabon in the group stage opener and against Chad in the classification match, scoring 25 points in each. He also scored 17 points against Mali, 15 against Senegal, 14 against Tunisia, and 13 against Morocco. The JCBA player logged 201 minutes throughout the tournament, shooting 65.4% from two-point range (34/52), 17.1% from three-point range (6/35), and 69.7% from the free-throw line (23/33).
