Young people as bearers of solutions against corruption. This is the challenge set by the Committee for the Safeguarding of Integrity (CSI). Yesterday, the CSI launched a vast national mobilization with the International Organization of La Francophonie and Switzerland to prepare for the National Forum for the Promotion of Integrity, to be held on October 1st and 2nd at the University of Antananarivo.
Moving beyond institutional discourse, this time the floor is given to 18-35 year-olds from all regions. The CSI is calling for applications. Those selected will debate, work in groups, and collectively draft a ‘Citizen Engagement Manifesto’—a text that will directly present youth recommendations to the government.
However, the CSI is not stopping there. To discuss integrity in a different way, it is launching two competitions: the creation of a new logo for the Anti-Corruption System and the production of a short video on ‘The role of youth in promoting integrity.’ Creativity and commitment are in the spotlight.
For two days, the Ankatso esplanade will be transformed into an ‘Integrity Village.’ Open to all, it will showcase the work of institutions and the young winners. This initiative is part of the 2025-2030 National Anti-Corruption Strategy (SNLCC).
