The written examinations for the judicial stream at the National School of Magistracy and Registry (ENMG) will be retaken in September. Minister of Justice Fanirisoa Ernaivo announced this on Monday following the confirmation of irregularities.
Candidates for the judicial stream of the ENMG entrance exam will have to retake their written tests from September 1 to 4, 2026. These tests, originally held in December 2025, were canceled after suspicions of exam paper leaks were confirmed. The competition, which had been suspended since March 15, 2026, is thus partially resuming.
The decision was announced by Minister of Justice Fanirisoa Ernaivo. According to her, investigations conducted after the suspension confirmed irregularities specifically linked to the judicial stream. Authorities decided to only repeat the tests affected by these anomalies.
The investigation, led by the Independent Anti-Corruption Bureau (Bianco), focused on two main points: potential leaks of exam subjects prior to the tests and the presence of distinctive marks on certain copies that could have influenced grading. The findings were transmitted to the Anti-Corruption Pole (PAC) for legal proceedings.
Other streams are not affected by this cancellation. Candidates in the administrative and financial streams will continue according to the original schedule, with oral exams maintained from August 17 to 20, 2026.
