Football serves digital education and online risk awareness. Orange Madagascar organized the second edition of the “For Good Connection Days” program on July 31 and August 1 in Toamasina, following the inaugural edition launched in 2025.
This program promotes responsible digital usage by using football as a learning tool. The two days of activities, including football matches, Zumba sessions, discovery tours, educational workshops, and interactive games, helped raise awareness among nearly six hundred young players and parents. Eight youth teams aged 11 to 13 from the capital and Toamasina participated in the football tournament.
These activities enabled participants to better understand the opportunities offered by digital technology and to identify risks related to social media, cyberbullying, online hate speech, and hyper-connectivity. They were also educated on best practices for more responsible and secure use of digital tools, which serve as a powerful lever for education, entertainment, and social connection. Orange Madagascar is developing an innovative approach that combines sports and pedagogy to help young people better understand digital challenges and adopt good daily habits.
This initiative aims to reach 6 million beneficiaries by 2030.
