The Medical Institute of Madagascar (IMM) has launched a new training program aimed at general practitioners and medical doctoral students. The goal is to identify, support, and prepare a new generation of doctors capable of contributing to the improvement of healthcare in Madagascar.
Following a recruitment phase that selected over sixty candidates, the program has now entered its training phase. Over the course of two months, participants will engage in courses and practical activities, including interactive lessons, clinical case studies, exchanges with specialists, and regular assessments.
This training aims to strengthen their knowledge, improve their medical reasoning, and develop their skills in patient care.
At the end of the program, about twenty doctors will be selected to undergo a five-year specialized training in medical imaging. This training will be conducted in partnership with the CERF (College of Radiology Teachers of France) and will take place between Madagascar and France.
The program is implemented by AROVY University, in collaboration with the IMM and the CERF. Through this initiative, the IMM aims to strengthen medical education and contribute to the development of quality medicine for the benefit of the population.
