A total of 613 pastors were ordained yesterday in Ankaramalaza as part of the 85th-anniversary celebration of the Tobilehibe Ankaramalaza, the cradle of one of the largest spiritual revival movements in Madagascar, initiated by Volahavana Germaine, known as Nenilava, in 1941. The presence of three Malagasy “filoha” (leaders/presidents) at yesterday’s ceremony marked a significant moment for the community.
